Everthing You Need to Know Before Your Hunt at Walkin’ T Outfitters

Where is Walkin' T Ranch located?

Walkin’ T Ranch is located off Hog Canyon just outside of beautiful Paso Robles on California’s Central Coast. Prior to the hunt your guide will meet you at highway 46 East and 101 crossing. Hunter's are responsible for driving to and from ranch in their own vehicle.

What is included in my price?

Pricing is per person
Professional licensed and bonded guide services
Field dressing and skinning done on ranch. Hunter is responsible for butcher booking and drop off

Where to stay?

Hunter(s) are responsible for booking your lodging. We do not allow camping on the property however there are many local hotels, Airbnbs, and RV Park options available. Search for bookings near Highway 46 East and Highway 101 crossings for easiest commute.

Booking & Advance Requirements?

A non-refundable deposit is required to secure your hunting date. We only accept cash or cashier's check as method of payments.

Required before your hunt:

A current California hunting license
Required validations and tags for the species you are hunting
Firearm must be sighted in and ready for use
Arrangements made for butcher processing

What to bring on your hunt?

To ensure a successful and smooth hunt, please bring:

A 120-quart (or larger) ice chest for transporting meat
Non-lead ammunition (required in California)
Layered clothing appropriate for changing weather conditions
Snacks and water

Alcohol consumption before or during the hunt is not permitted.

How long are the hunts?

Hunt length varies depending on the species and package selected. Hog and buck are typically two days with a morning and evening outing. Dove and Turkey are single days with a morning and evening outing. We schedule both mid week and weekends.

What is the cancellation policy?

We allow one rescheduling per booking within one year of original hunt date. Deposits are non-refundable. However, we understand that circumstances can change, and we will always do our best to reschedule your hunt within one year of your original booking date.

Do you offer gift certificates?

Yes, please contact us for purchase.

Is there a fee for non-hunting guests?

Yes. Non-hunting guests are welcome for a fee of $200.
